There are many exciting ministry opportunities for you and your family to be a part of at Sweet Home Baptist.
At Sweet Home Baptist we have Sunday School classes for all ages! Every Sunday we have classes which range from nursery age, Toddler, Primary, Junior, Junior and Senior High as well as an adult class that meets in the Sanctuary. Each member of your family will find an age appropriate class which provides sound biblical instruction and Christian fellowship. Come be a part of our growing Sunday School this Sunday!
We believe in conservative, godly singing at Sweet Home. We sing the old hymns of the faith here at Sweet Home Baptist Church. We have an adult choir that has a good selection of Christ honoring music. We also have special music as well from individuals and groups. If you like old fashion, heart felt music that stirs your heart, you will enjoy the music here.
SOUL WINNING VISITATION
Sweet Home is actively involved in reaching “Our Jerusalem” with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Each month we go out into the “highways and hedges” and spread the gospel around our church in an effort to reach “Our Jerusalem”. We believe that this is part of the Great Commission. We not only want to reach people globally thru missions, but locally as well.
LADIES CRAFT CLASS
The Ladies Craft class meets once a month. This ministry provides time to spend in fellowship with our sisters in Christ. The Craft Class enjoys making treats for the shut-ins, small gifts for the mothers on Mother’s day and the fathers on Father’s Day, putting together care packages for our college students and any other church function as needed. One of our recent projects was making angels for the families of premature or still born babies at our local hospital.
Here at Sweet Home much emphasis is put on reaching the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Each month we financially support the mission efforts of 25 foreign and domestic Missionaries. The sun literally never sets on the mission work of Sweet Home Baptist Church! We not only support them financially, but we also support them with our prayers.
