“What must I do to be saved?”  Acts 16:30

Salvation is as simple as A B C

Admit that you are a sinner.

The Bible, God’s word, declares that we are all sinners. Sin is a breaking of God’s law. Sin is missing the mark of God’s holiness. Sin is any word, thought, or deed that displeases God. We have all sinned.

“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.” Romans 3:10

“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” Romans 5:12

God is holy, and he cannot allow even one sin into heaven. Dear reader, sin must be paid for by death. Our sins have separated us from a holy God.

“But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.” Isaiah 59:2

“For the wages of sin is death” Romans 6:23a

Believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for your sins and rose again to save you.

Because we are all sinners, we are all bound for eternal hell without God. God does not want you to go to hell. He sent his only Son to take your place and to bear your sins and my sins on the cross of Calvary.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

When Jesus Christ died on the cross, his blood paid for your sins.

“In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.” Colossians 1:14

My friend, Jesus didn’t stay in the tomb! He rose again and is alive and able to save you today!

“Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” I Corinthians 15:3-4

Call upon the name of the Lord and ask him to save you today.

Jesus paid the sin debt that you owed. If you want to reject him, do nothing. If you want to be saved, repent of your sins and turn to the Lord for salvation. To repent means to turn. Turn from your own way and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ.

“Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” Luke 13:3

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13

Salvation is a free gift paid for by the Lord Jesus Christ. You cannot earn it. Good works won’t get you to heaven. Church membership won’t save you. Baptism won’t save you. Only Jesus Christ can save you. Without him, you will go to the awful place called hell for eternity. Won’t you receive the gift of salvation today?

“But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23b

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

Salvation really is as simple as ABC! If you would like to accept Jesus as your own personal Savior, please pray this prayer and mean it with all your heart:

Dear Lord, I now realize that I am a sinner in need of salvation. I know I cannot save myself. I believe that your Son, Jesus Christ, died for my sins, was buried, and rose again. Right now I repent of my sin and trust Jesus Christ to be my Savior, and I ask you to save me and take me to heaven when I die. Thank you Lord for saving my soul. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

If you just prayed this prayer by faith, we would love to hear from you!
